Bumping Into Old Emotional Wounds With People In Our Past

In this episode Ryan and John Anthony discuss what happens when a person meets up with old friends and there's unfinished business between them. How do we revert back to our old way of being even though presently we have made great strides in our emotional development.

In this episode we discuss the Emotional Wounds and Patterns that a person can have with Family and ways that we can process through them in a healthy way. When we are children we come up with coping styles that help us to get through challenges that impact us on an emotional level. They get us through things in the sense that we are still alive, but they don't help us to heal those emotional wounds. Now that we have a fully mature brain we are able to do things differently that can help us to heal those emotional wounds, but we often don't realize there are other ways to work through things.

Podcast With John Anthony and Jonathan, November 24, 2021

Hello Everyone,

Many times I have explained the tools to people and they were able to grasp it on an intellectual level but it doesn’t help them to obtain the experience of using the tools.

What this podcast is about is trying to help the listener to understand the experience of someone being walked through the tools, in real time almost as if you were sitting in a group and someone else was having group time. It is when we walk through the process of using the tools ourselves or see someone else get walked through the tools that we begin to understand them and to see how powerful they are and how they work.

This was taped live and is an unscripted and unrehearsed experience between Jonathan and I as I walk him through a situation.  This particular conversation is about a real dilemma that Jonathan had. He has been invited to two families for Thanksgiving dinner. One family, supports being vaccinated and wearing a mask the other family does not support being vaccinated or wearing a mask. The quandary or dilemma that Jonathan had about trying to be True to both families is the situation I walked him through using the tools. Thank you for your patience and giving things time to develop as you listen to this conversation.

Being Left Out of a Family Get Together- A Conversation Between Ryan and John Anthony, September 8, 2021

October 3, 2021

Hello Everyone,

After being away since April, 2021, it is great to be back. This is a different format than what I have done in the past. To get a direct explanation of the Tools I teach go back to my first podcasts. Below is a written description of how to give RUACAT to yourself and others.

RUACAT TM

To alleviate the unhappiness and suffering in my life, I need to learn how to become conscious of my fears and how to recognize and heal my emotional wounds. Then I need to learn how to give love to myself - love that maybe I did not get from my family of origin. Love, that is in the form of Respect, Understanding, Acceptance, Caring, Appreciation and Trust (RUACAT). I benefit by taking these actions, regardless of which side of a conflict I am on.

Respect is when I don’t do anything I don’t want to do or allow someone else to do something to me that I don’t want done to me. Then I am showing respect to myself.

Understanding requires listening, and whom I have to listen to is myself. I need to listen to my thoughts and feelings as well as be aware of my behaviors. When I pay attention to these things I am giving myself understanding.

Acceptance is to accept myself just as I am. Not as soon as I gain 5 lbs. or lose 5 lbs. not as soon as I get that goal accomplished, but to accept me right now just as I am with all my wounds and mistakes.

Caring is when I make sure that I eat right, get plenty of rest and exercise, keep my mental and physical hygiene up and keep my environment clean.

Appreciation is when I look at who I am being and who I have been, and acknowledge to myself the value of it all.

Trust is when I believe I will be able to do what I need to do when I need to do it, that I will think of the right thing to do at the right time, that things will work out and I will do what I need to do to make it happen.

When I do these six things for myself, I am giving love to myself. I am turning my love light on. When I do so, the Light of my Love makes the Darkness of my Fear go away. When I work through my fear this way, then I am in control of it and I have eliminated the source of my emotional pain. If I have no emotional pain, I do not have to resort to the emergency-escape- valve emotion of anger and then choose to hurt others as my way of attempting to stop my emotional pain.

A Conversation With Someone Learning How To Use The Tools For Emotional Management And Healing

A Conversation With Someone Learning How To Use The Tools For Emotional Management And Healing

March 19, 2021

In this episode John Anthony explains what a person can do when they did not get the love that they needed from their caretakers when they were children. How the process of giving RUACAT to ourselves works.

What to do when we are caught up in our bitterness and hatred for someone that we blame for our hurt. Hear someone get walked through the four dimensions of emotional healing

Moving from blaming others to taking responsibility for our lives.

The emotional trap we put ourselves in when we are stuck blaming others for a problem and how we deprive ourselves of the love we need and the love we wanted from them and didn't get.

When we heal an emotional wound we are better able to respond to situations, circumstances and people rather than react. How we become emotionally independent or self dependent.
